SEO is called Search Engines Optimization. There are a lot of Bloggers and Webmasters are trying very hard to get this done. The idea of SEO is simple. Optimize your site for Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, AltaVista and so on. This means that your site will appear in the search results if your site is properly OPTIMIZE.
What is the purpose of SEO ?
The purpose of SEO is to get your site listed into the search results of searches done by online surfers.
For example:
Your site is about golf. You write some posts about golf. Your site will surely full of the word “Golf”. This is your keyword. So, when people search in search engines like Google, your site might be listed and might be not.
This will need you to do some optimizations. Properly optimized site will appear at the first page of the results. So, this gives your site an advantage. Traffic will start flowing to your site.
How to do SEO ?
SEO requires a lot of jobs. You need to get proper keywords for your blog/site. Then, you will need to write a lot of articles. In SEO, a lot of articles do not means writing 50 or 100 articles. You really need a lot. In order to archieve good SEO, you will need 500 or more articles for your site/blog.
Try to write as many articles as possible. Make sure it is original(Written by you) not “copy and paste” articles.
With these articles, your site/blog will be full of the keywords you choose. When people search in Search Engines, your articles will have very high possibility to appear.
Finally, unlimited traffic will flow to your site/blog. Your earnings from AdSense will be extremely maximize.

This looks like a good introduction on SEO. Wish to get more input like this one.
I am new to SEO. Sounds like hell of a lot of writing to do! I am attending a lesson on SEO and they gave me an excersie to put the fictitious word “imaseocontest” into my blog or something and see how many hits Google will report by the next ten days. Still not sure how it works but sure as hell not going to write 500 articles on that! The site involved is: imaseocontest. Hope you guys can drop by and give some commnets. Thanks.
